Jillian Pearce needed a regional festival to partner with Melbourne’s Next Wave festival for her project Colony, which saw Y Space aerial performers dressed as angels inhabit the Arts Centre Spire for a week. Jillian convinced Greg Pritchard to again direct the Fringe Festival, with money from Vic Health. This saw it called the Natimuk ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ Fringe Festival. It had music events, a sculpture exhibition, art attacks and the Frinj’s first silo show with the Y Space aerialist angels performing on the town’s GrainCorp Silo.
