‘an apology I was never given, and the one I never made’
‘an apology I was never given, and the one I never made’ is a site-specific performance work/installation staged at the Natimuk Court House.
Resident at the Natimuk Courthouse Sam, invited community members to come sit with her at sessions from November 18th – 20th 2021 to share an apology they were never given and one they never made. These apologies will be collected and developed into a text-based sound work, installation, and projection to be exhibited at the Natimuk Fringe 2022.
There was also the opportunity to participate anonymously by leaving written apologies in a special box installed at the Natimuk Post Office from November 15th – 26th 2021.
